Electronic Image Stabilization is also one of the Stabilization implemented on phone cameras and cameras. This is implemented in software of camera image processing unit. If you see in optical image stabilization it is the hardware stabilization given to camera but the electronic image stabilization is installed in camera softwares. Electronic Image Stabilization works on the basis of software. When camera captures any image or a video that is given into the processing unit which is in the software. Here the Stabilization is done inside of the camera after capturing the image. In this the image cropped to stabilise the video. And the processing output is seen in the display of the camera or phone.
This works same like optical image stabilization but OIS is hard based technology but EIS is software based technology.
But EIS is not that much same work like optical image stabilization.
