Have you ever heard about the word OIS (optical image stabilization)?
Didn’t you get any doubt about OIS?
Whenever you gonna see specifications of a mobile or camera you can see OIS (optical image stabilization) mentioned there.
This is implemented in most of the flagship smartphones which are high end .
For example we can see here in the image
There it is marked.
OPTICAL IMAGE STABILIZATION is one of the image stabilization method to improve image quality.
Whenever we try to take a photo , our hands will not be stable everyone’s handa will shake . If we click photo while shaking then the image will be not good . Some springs are arranged on either sides and bottom of cameras as you can see in the picture
This is the mechanism work in OIS
When you move your camera or phone upwards then this OIS comes into action and makes the camera stable .
Then we can get good quality of picture.
These springs moves camera opposite to your movement of phone.
If you move the camera front then camera is adjusted at backwards.
This captured image is sent into the sensors for further process.
